Living On "The Rock" For 1 Month
Monthly Update!July has come and gone...time flies in wild places! We started this month with a bang, celebrating Canada Day with a firework send-off as we put our RV on a 7-hour boat ride from Nova Scotia to Newfoundland. Throughout the month we explored the western side of “the rock” and had the most amazing time hiking in Gros Morne National Park, seeing icebergs at the northernmost point in Lanse aux Meadows, watching whales breach in Twillingate, and photographing puffins on the Bonavista Peninsula. Newfoundland has quickly become one of our favorite destinations. It is a hidden gem that is perfect for the RV adventurer. We have been sharing our iceberg sightings, and whale and puffin encounters on Instagram to showcase the island's beauty and wildlife. Over the next few months, we will be building out a comprehensive travel guide to Atlantic Canada, including information on RVing, hiking, and things to see and do in New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island... so stay tuned! If you have anything specific you are curious about or would like us to make sure we include in our guides, be sure to reach out and let us know! Travel can be transformative when it is done mindfully and intentionally. Instead of looking at your itinerary as things to check off of a list, consider instead how you can use your time to connect with the world and people around you. Monthly Update! Punxsutawney Phil said early spring..are you ready for RVing season!? The past month has been a busy one for us! We visited with family in Florida, snorkeled with manatees, took a 4-night cruise to the Caribbean, booked our summer campgrounds in Canada, and towed 1,200 miles to start our journey west and get some much-needed RV service. We plan to visit 21 new National Parks in 2024, making our way up the west coast and into Canada to spend 3 months in the Canadian Rockies....
Monthly Update! Happy New Year! The end of one year and the beginning of another is always a bit bittersweet. In 2023 we saw our confidence as full-time RVers blossom as we traveled to 10 states and 4 Canadian Provinces while covering all of the east coast from Key West in Florida up to Newfoundland in Atlantic Canada.
