Monthly Update! Punxsutawney Phil said early spring..are you ready for RVing season!? The past month has been a busy one for us! We visited with family in Florida, snorkeled with manatees, took a 4-night cruise to the Caribbean, booked our summer campgrounds in Canada, and towed 1,200 miles to start our journey west and get some much-needed RV service. We plan to visit 21 new National Parks in 2024, making our way up the west coast and into Canada to spend 3 months in the Canadian Rockies....

Monthly Update! Happy New Year! The end of one year and the beginning of another is always a bit bittersweet. In 2023 we saw our confidence as full-time RVers blossom as we traveled to 10 states and 4 Canadian Provinces while covering all of the east coast from Key West in Florida up to Newfoundland in Atlantic Canada. We put our 40-foot RV on a ferry, snuck in international travel to England and Wales, and had the luxury of spending great quality time with friends and family throughout the...

Monthly Update! The early bird gets the worm when it comes to RVing! Wow, December already!? November had us heading south for warmer weather, making our journey from brisk New England down to sunny Florida. We had a lakeside stay in South Carolina, a quick stop in Savannah, and are now enjoying plenty of 75-degree days by the ocean. This time of year is typically a bit of an enigma for us. A balancing act of spending quality time with family, leaning into the celebrations of the holiday...

Monthly Update! We walked 10 miles touring London on a wonderful sunny fall day! In October we made a last-minute decision to leave the RV behind for a bit and take a spontaneous trip across the pond! If there is one thing we have learned in our years of travel, it's that when opportunities appear, you say yes! So within a span of 2 weeks, we booked our tickets and headed on a plane from Boston to London for 12 days of visiting family and sightseeing in England. We even made time for some...

Monthly Update! Fall foliage has been erupting around Lake Placid in the Adirondacks In September we returned to the U.S. after 3 months away! In many ways, Canada was very similar and it was easy to forget that we were in fact not in our home country sometimes. It was also pretty nice to take a deep breath once we pulled across the border when we realized we no longer had to worry about: Remembering that the speed limit signs are in kilometers (so no, you shouldn't be driving 110 mph on the...

Monthly Update! Nova Scotia's Cape Breton Island is stunning! August brought the official end of our Newfoundland adventure. As we sailed on our 16-hour ferry from Argentia back toward Nova Scotia, we were filled with such gratitude for the beautiful experiences we had on "the rock" in our 5 weeks exploring the island. We landed in North Sydney and headed straight to Cape Breton Island for more coastal fun and had a great time hiking the shoreline and learning more about the area's Celtic...

Monthly Update! Gros Morne National Park has a stunning landscape where fjords and green cliffs meet the sea July has come and gone...time flies in wild places! We started this month with a bang, celebrating Canada Day with a firework send-off as we put our RV on a 7-hour boat ride from Nova Scotia to Newfoundland. Throughout the month we explored the western side of “the rock” and had the most amazing time hiking in Gros Morne National Park, seeing icebergs at the northernmost point in Lanse...

Monthly Update! We have now seen lighthouses all over the East Coast! In 2023 we are exploring between Newfoundland and the Florida Keys... and plenty of places in between! June was a month of both familiarity and expanding our comfort zone with brand-new experiences. After 1.5 years of full-time RV travel, we made our first repeat visit to one of our favorite spots... Acadia National Park. We love the rocky coast of Maine and a few weeks hiking in Acadia was the perfect stop for us after a...

Monthly Update! Taughannock Falls near the Finger Lakes in Upstate New York... it's more than just wine country! May was a whirlwind! After leaving the beauty and tranquility of Shenandoah National Park, we headed north to the Finger Lakes. We continued chasing waterfalls and explored a few of the area's many picturesque vineyards and cideries, slowing our pace a bit from the 25-30 miles we were hiking a week in Virginia. If you are interested in visiting Shenandoah, it is truly a hiker's...
